Lauralei ‘Brenda’ Smith
1940-2022

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lauralei “Brenda” Smith.

Brenda passed on April 14, 2022, at the age of 82 years young.

Brenda was born in Hawaii and lived there for most of her younger years. She grew up an Island Girl.

Brenda was always the life of the party, and always had fun wherever she went. She was everyone’s favorite person.

She loved being with her grandkids and her great grandkids. She also loved spending time with her friends.

She was an outgoing person, who loved to have fun in life.

Brenda wore many different hats in her lifetime. She owned a bar for many years and made many lifelong friends there.

She also helped raise two of her many grandchildren.

She worked hard, so that she could have fun in life.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Darnell Barella and Colleen Schwartz; and son, Darrel Kostner.

She also leaves behind grandchildren, Albert Terrel and Kristien Armstrong; and three great-grandchildren, Cooper Armstrong, Zoey Terrel and Walker Armstrong.

We miss her so much and she will always be with us in our hearts.
