LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Leonso Paul Rangel entered into rest on July 18, 2022.

Leo was a tribal member of Big Valley Rancheria. He was always full of smiles and jokes and brought laughter to the room. He truly touched so many people's lives.

Leo is predeceased by his mother, Leota; daughter, Aliana Rangel; grandparents, Annie and Hudson Jack.

He leaves behind his honorary Pop, Kent Wooldridge; siblings, Anthony, Larry and Leah Jack; children, Nate, Teena, Jonetta, Dannette, Leah, Sativa, Junior, Joe, Kayden, Jr., Michael, Kamiyah, David and Novalee; grandchildren, Nate, Amiya, John, Pops, Waynona, Waylan, Anthony, Eagle Feather, Ricc, Phil and Emilio Jr.

Traditional Native American visitation will be held at Big Valley Gym in Lakeport starting on Tuesday, July 26, at 11 a.m. continuing until Friday, July 29, at 10 a.m.

Leonso's wish was to be cremated so there will be no graveside funeral.

Family and friends that wish to pay their condolences are welcome to attend. Anyone that would like to bring a dish to share with the family would be appreciated. Please keep the family in your prayers.
