LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Charlie was born March 8, 1951, in Lakeport, California.

He passed away peacefully on Feb. 24, 2022 with family at his bedside.

Charlie was also a tribal member of Big Valley Rancheria.

He is survived by his son, John Cruz Jr.; daughter-in-law, Natalie Cruz; granddaughter, Kylie Cruz; goddaughters, Alicia and Yolanda; and grandson, Nick Jack.

Charlie had many great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. He had many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews, as well as friends.

We will surely miss him as he was a big part of our lives.

He is preceded by his parents, Jose and Vivian Cruz; as well as his brothers and sister.

Visitation will be held at his Home at 5240 Gunn St. in Kelseyville from Wednesday, March 2, to March 4, at 11 a.m. Rosary service will be held on March 3 at 6 p.m. at the same location.

There will be no graveside services due to his wishes for cremation.
