MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – Charles M. Crofoot, 81, passed away on Oct. 18, 2020, at home.

Charles was born Sept. 7, 1939, in San Diego, California, to Charles and Mildred Crofoot. He grew up in San Diego and Rodeo, moving to Cobb in his junior year of high school.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and family gatherings, and was known for his sense of humor.

He worked for Kelseyville Lumber and Foremost Dairy prior to owning and operating Crofoot’s Chevron & Tow Service, retiring in 2001.

Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, J’net; daughters, Donna Crofoot and Penny McIntosh (husband Robert); grandsons, Charles Matteo (Shayla), Joshua McIntosh, Jonathon Seda (Kimberly) and Robbie McIntosh (Katelyn); and great-granddaughter, Emma Charlie Seda.

His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread in Crofoot Gulch. No services are planned.
