Registrar of Voters Office to test ballot tabulation computer and software for election

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — The Lake County Registrar of Voters Office will hold its regular pre-election testing of its ballot tabulation computer and software this week.

The agency reported that it will hold a logic and accurate test for the ballot tabulation computer and software to be used for the March 5 Presidential Primary Election on Friday, Feb. 2.

The testing will begin at 9 a.m. in the elections office, 325 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.

All interested persons are invited to observe this test.

The testing is conducted pursuant to regulations of the California State Commission on Voting Machines and Vote Tabulating Devices.
