Photography lovers, look for your best photo or snap those winning pictures now.

Plans remain in full swing for the annual California State Fair & Food Festival, July 17 to Aug. 2, that is why the photography competition is now open through June 5. Competitive entries have already come in from around the state and we hope that you will enter as well.

Did you capture the perfect photo? Share it with everyone in California at the California State Fair Photography Competition. You don't have to be a pro to enter.

This competition is open to all Californians, from those just picking up a camera for the first time to those that have been snapping photos for years.

Categories include architecture, landscape, people, nature and any other.

Accepted entries will be on display for the duration of the California State Fair & Food Festival.

The contest is open to all California residents, 18 and older.

Enter by June 5.

Organizers are hopeful that the current COVID-19 emergency will subside before this summer. However, should a decision be made to cancel the State Fair, awards will be issued to the already judged competitions. They will refund entry fees for those competitions that haven't been judged yet.
