LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lucerne Area Town Hall will meet on Thursday, May 16.

The meeting will take place beginning at 7 p.m. at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, 3985 Country Club Drive.

On the agenda are subcommittee reports and recommendations, including a draft petition in support of LATH Resolution A0001 regarding a request to the county for proceeds from the Lucerne Hotel sale to be reinvested in the community, a draft petition urging loan forgiveness for the town’s water plant, pursuit of programs like Citizens Caring 4 Clearlake to implemented in Lucerne, and review and recommendations regarding updates to bylaws.

The group also will consider having the town hall become a party to the action to the California Public Utilities Commission proceeding to give formal input from and advocacy for Lucerne water ratepayers.
