Middletown Luncheon Club hosts mindfulness discussion June 20

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown Luncheon Club will host a discussion on mindfulness when it meets on Wednesday, June 20.

Cobb resident JoAnn Saccato, MA, will give them insight into the hot topic of mindfulness at the June luncheon.

Saccato is a mindfulness teacher, life-coach, author, inspirational speaker, educator and consultant.

Interestingly, she spent 10 years living off-the-grid in a 16-foot by 16-foot cabin in the oak woodlands of Lake County with her dog, Shyla, as her companion.

Researchers have identified mindfulness as one of the top strategies to achieve life satisfaction as well as to treat depression.

Lunch will be served on Wednesday, June 20, at noon at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington St. The program will end promptly at 1 p.m.

For only $5 per person, enjoy a delicious meal of orange chicken, rice, veggies and fresh fruit. You may also just come and listen to the speaker for free. Everyone is welcome.
