LAKEPORT – Gene Tardiff of Lower Lake was the lucky winner of a custom made Telecaster guitar, valued at $950, given away in a recent KPFZ 88.1 raffle fundraiser.

The guitar was handmade by local musician and guitar maker Clyde Colwell and generously donated to KPFZ, 88.1 FM Lake County Community Radio, for the fundraiser.

KPFZ is currently raising money needed to upgrade its signal. The station is a locally produced community radio station broadcasting from Mt. Konocti.

The winning ticket was drawn at the recent Country Joe McDonald concert on Oct. 17 at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre.
