LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is holding an open house on the recommended cleanup plan for the Sulphur Bank Mercury Mine Superfund site in Clearlake Oaks.

The meeting, which will be tribe-focused, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, at Konocti Vista Casino Resort, 2755 Mission Rancheria Road, Lakeport.

The EPA will provide information and updates related to the proposed plan and offer time for questions-and-answers, and an opportunity to submit official written comments.
