LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lucerne Town Hall will hold a meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20.

The virtual meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

On the agenda is a presentation by county Public Services Director Lars Ewing on the Dark Skies Initiative and overnight parking at Lucerne Harbor Park.

Other items on the agenda include a writing contest, graffiti, town hall residency requirements and the status of the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center to be able to respond to community needs and emergencies.

The town hall also will discuss approaching the Board of Supervisors to give homeowners a tax deduction for removing trees for yard cleanup.
