Caltrans plans major roadwork through June 25

NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.

Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.

Caltrans wishes to advise motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.

The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise above.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Scott Valley Road to Saratoga Spring Road on Friday, June 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Highway construction from Shaul Street to High Valley road will continue. Westbound lane controls will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Paving operation from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will occur on Friday, June 19 to Saturday, June 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Grinding and paving roadwork from Private Road to Route 53 South will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 29

– Highway construction from B Street to Spruce Grove Road North will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Highway construction from Spruce Grove Road North to Route 53 North Lower Lake will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Highway construction from Seigler Creek Bridge to Seigler Canyon Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Highway Construction from Route 281 to Private Drive will continue. One-way traffic controls will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

Highway 175

– Highway construction from North Route 29 to Private Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Cobb Mountain Water has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near Private Road on Friday, June 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Highway construction from Putah Creek Bridge to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays. LC#C175GA

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Kinney Road to Alder Creek beginning Monday, June 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– McKuin Pipeline has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Pacific View Drive to south of Irish Beach on Friday, June 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Grinding and paving roadwork from Pudding Creek to De Haven Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Grinding operation from Pudding Creek to De Haven Creek will begin Monday, June 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 20

– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Tree work near Road 200A will begin Monday, June 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

Highway 101

– Electrical work near East Side Road will begin Monday, June 22. Lane controls will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minimal delays.

– Striping operation from East Side Road to Geysers Road will begin on Monday, June 22. Lane controls will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minimal delays.

– Striping operation from East Side Road to Hopland Overhead Bridge will occur Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19. On-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Striping operation from Hopland Overhead Bridge to Geysers Road on Friday, June 19. Moving traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minimal delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Rosetti Creek to First Street beginning Monday, June 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays. LC#P101JA

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Feliz Creek to First Street on Friday, June 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Emergency work from East Hill Undercrossing to Baechtel Creek Bridge will begin Friday, June 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Striping operation from north of the entrance to Witra’s Hidden to South of Ten Mile Creek will continue. Northbound and southbound lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
