Caltrans plans major roadwork through Nov. 21

NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.

Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

– Striping operation from Blue Lakes Road to Colusa County Line will continue from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Lake Special District has been granted an encroachment permit for emergency work west of Laurel Dell Drive to east of Rosemont Drive on Friday, November 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Mitchell Road to Clear Lakes Oaks East Wednesday, November 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Highway construction from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Tree work from Route 53 South to the Colusa County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 29

– Striping operation from the Napa County Line to JCT 29, end of Route 20 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Redwood Credit Union has been granted an encroachment permit for shoulder work from Route 53 to Morgan Valley Road Friday, November 15. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Bridge work will occur from the Lakeport Blvd Overcrossing to the 11th Street Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Bridge work from Hill Road East Overcrossing to 11th Street Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Bridge work from Park Way Overcrossing to Hill Road Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Bridge work from the Reinking Undercrossing to Lucerne Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Bridge work from the Robinson Rancheria Road to Lucerne Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Striping operation from south of Robinson Rancheria Road to south of Route 20 will continue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

Highway 175

– Emergency work east of Mathews Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Tree work from North Route 29 to Private Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Tree work from Arroyo Vista Road to Santa Clara Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Highway construction from Putah Creek Bridge 14 21 to the Dry Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

– Bridge work from Alder Creek Beach to Irish Beach Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Bridge work from Navarro River Junction 128 East will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Bridge work from Salmon Creek to the Spring Grove Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Bridge work from Caspar Creek Bridge to Caspar Vista Point will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 20

– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Bridge work from Broaddus Creek Bridge 10-107 to the Broaddus Railroad Crossing will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Striping operation from Willits RR Crossing to Cold Creek Bridge #5-10-44 will continue. Moving lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 101

– Bridge work from the Ackerman Creek Bridge to the Hensley Creek Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect in both directions from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Bridge work from the Hensley Creek Undercrossing to the Lake Mendocino Drive Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Bridge work and inspections near the West Road Overcrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Bridge work from the CA Division of Forestry to the Jitney Gulch Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 128

– Wylatti has been granted an encroachment permit for paving from Wendling Street to east of Salamini Road on Friday, Nov. 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
