LOWER LAKE, Calif. – Lake County Democratic Club met on July 5 to hear Joan Jacobs speak about a pilot children's program being rolled out in Lake County.

The Keep Well Kids Club is an edutainment program whose aim is to empower a generation of healthy kids. Three introductory sessions are being held in MIddletown this summer.

The Lake County Democratic Club meets every second Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the social hall of the Methodist Church, 16255 2nd Street, Lower Lake. Club meetings are open to the public. Membership is open to registered Democrats.
