The meeting will take place beginning at 5:15 p.m. Monday, July 24, in the council chambers at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.
On the agenda is the approval of a stipend in the amount of $500 per month for an executive manager assigned as assistant city manager.
City Manager Margaret Silveira’s report to the council said the stipend and the assistant city manager is part of the council’s stated goals to plan for succession in the city manager role.
The council on Monday also will consider the 20th Street Traffic Mitigation Plan.
Staff is asking the council to authorize Silveira to sign a contract with Striping Graphics not to exceed $17,010 for the installation of thermoplastic striping on a portion of the 20th Street roadway.
In other business, the council will hear an update from staff on the Carnegie Library accessibility project.
The city is planning to make upgrades to the building in order to reopen it to the public.
The council also will hold a closed session for labor negotiations with the Lakeport Employee Association and the Unrepresented Employee Group.
