LAKEPORT, Calif. – This week the Board of Supervisors will honor a conservationist for his work on behalf of Lake County and present a proclamation for invasive weed awareness.
The board will meet beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, in the board chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.

At 9:10 a.m., the board will present a proclamation designating the week of July 17 to July 23 as Invasive Weed Awareness Week in Lake County.
At 10:15 a.m., the board will honor Dwight Holford with a proclamation for being named Conservationist of the Year for 2017, and honor him for his “continuous dedication and effort toward preservation and conservation of the natural resources of Lake County.”
Holford is the former director of the East Lake Resource Conservation District

7.1: Approve Minutes of the Board of Supervisors meeting held May 16, May 23, May 31 and June 6.
