MIDDLETOWN – The Middletown Cobb Little League is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the Little League District 53 Senior All-Star tournament this coming weekend.

District 53 encompasses the Napa Valley and Middletown-Cobb Little League is the northernmost outpost.

 

The Senior league is composed of Little League players age 14 to 16.

 

Middletown Cobb's Senior league team, under the able direction of Manager Phil Willis and Coaches Steve Tanguay and Tim Gill, will be facing a senior league team from Benicia on Saturday, July 11, at 3 p.m. at the Middletown High School Varsity Field.

 

As the tournament is "best of three," game two will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 12, at Middletown High School with an optional third game immediately following the second.

 

Members of the team were picked from MCLL's two junior teams earlier this month and include Hunter Aiello, Blaine Amos, Kyle Brown, Reid Carpenter, Connor Chick, Jacob Gill, Jack Hamilton, Nicky Hoefer, Brandon Pelhum, Cody Rains, Nate Salmans, Jonathon Tanguay and Art Willis.
