LOWER LAKE, Calif. – Lower Lake Elementary’s teachers and staff are hoping to be able to bid students an official goodbye this week.

“As we wind down the last week of school, the staff would love to see the kids one last time for our final good-bye wave,” the school said on its Facebook page.

Families are invited to drive past Lower Lake Elementary on Friday, May 29, between 10 and 10:30 a.m. and staff will be out waving.

“It's not quite our final bus wave, but it will have to do. We hope you have the best summer with your family,” the school said in its post.
