The event will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, in the council chambers at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.
Running for three seats on the Lakeport City Council this year are Virginia Ingersoll, Suzanne Lyons, Roy Parmentier (incumbent), Robert Rumfelt (incumbent), Marc Spillman and George Spurr.
Elizabeth Larson of www.lakeconews.com will moderate.

and help torture Bob and Roy, something they are SO deserving of! And help support Lyons and Ingersoll, the best choices to replace the not-so-good 'ol boys! Ask dumb and dumber why they bought new streetlights instead of fixing the roads, ask why they hired a city manager who's idea of balancing the budget by huge borrowing schemes, or ask why the city has in general gone to hell in a handbasket since these clowns have taken the helm!

Lyons & Ingersoll are No.1 & No.2 on your list. You crush me! I have nothing against them but...
I am in my second 4-year term with the Lakeport Planning Commission.
I was Chairman of the Lakeport General Plan Advisory Committee.
I have certification, per State law, in ethics training.
I had had far greater differences of opinion with "the good old boys", than agreements over the years.
I'm the only candidate to bring up the need for a Road Advisory Committee. (with aggressive road-minded members)
I have no personal agenda(s)
I owe no one (except the Lakeport citizens) if I get into office.
How am I third (or worse) on your list? Chalon
