Caltrans plans roadwork through Oct. 29

NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.

Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.

Caltrans advises motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.

The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes unless noted otherwise.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Blue Lake Motel to Private Road on Tuesday, Oct. 27. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Saratoga Springs Road to Witter SpringsRoadon Friday, Oct. 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Diane Court on Thursday, Oct. 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 29

– Highway construction from Spruce Grove Road to Hofacker Lane will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Bell Park Avenue to Point Lakeview Drive on Monday, Oct. 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Highway Construction near the Route 281 junction will continue. One-way traffic controls will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

Highway 175

– Highway construction from the northern Route 29 junction to Private Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Estates Drive/Private Road on Tuesday, Oct. 27. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Highway construction from Putah Creek Bridge to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

– Paving operation from Old State Highway/Mendocino County Line to Mill Street, Point Arena will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Paving work from Riverside Drive to Lake Street, Point Arena will occur on Friday, Oct. 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Fence work from Navarro Ridge Road to Spring Grove Road will occur on Friday, Oct. 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Mowing from Comptche Ukiah Road to Caspar Creek Bridge will occur on Friday, Oct. 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Paving work from Ocean View Drive to Pudding Creek will continue.One-way traffic control will be in effect Sunday through Saturday overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Emergency sewer replacement. A failed sewer beneath one southbound lane from Alder Avenue to Redwood Avenue, Fort Bragg, will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Shoulder work from Pudding Creek to De Haven Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.

– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Blue Slide Gulch to Pelican Road on Tuesday, Oct. 27. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Bridge work at North Area Bridge, De Haven Creek will continue One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 20

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Private Road beginning Tuesday, Oct. 27. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Main Street and South Street on Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24. A full closure will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should take alternative routes.

– Grinding and paving work at AccessRoadwill continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 101

– Paving work from Geysers Road to East Side Road/Russian River will continue. Lane controls will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– A Caltrans Encroachment Permit for incident cleanup and road repairs at Moore Avenue Undercrossing off-ramp will occur on Thursday, Oct. 29. A full closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should take alternative routes.

– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Emergency road repairs due to wildfire from Ryan Creek Road to the entrance to Witra’s Hidden will begin Friday, Oct. 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Southbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic delays.

Highway 128

– Drainage work from East Limits Philo toRoad150B will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays. LC#C128DA

Highway 162

– Bridge work at Bloody Run Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Drainage work west of Sand Beach Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work from Poonkiny-Fairbanks to Short Creek beginning Monday, Oct. 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 175

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work from Wooldrige Ranch Road to East Side RancheriaRoadwill continue. One-way traffic controls will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
