The company's tax payments to counties increased by more than $5.2 million over the last property tax payments made April 10, 2006. This is the result of an increase in assessments due to PG&E's plant investments and an overall increase in tax rates.

A full listing of county-by-county payments is included below.

Lake County received $326,493.36 in the first installment.

Neighboring counties received the following amounts: Colusa, $549,888.09; Glenn, $391,334.43; Humboldt, $850,962.69; Mendocino, $600,580.83; Napa, $852,254.46; Tehama, $701,132.06; Yolo, $1,123,170.16.
