LAKE COUNTY – Miss Lake County 2008-09, Taylor-Paige Butler and Lake County’s Outstanding Teen, Katie Murphy, will join Habitat for Humanity on July 11 to help eliminate poverty housing in our community.

Setting aside their tiaras, they will pick up a hammer and join the crew on 3152 16th St. in Clearlake.

Community service is an important aspect of the Miss Lake County/ Lake County’s Outstanding Teen programs and Habitat for Humanity, Lake County is grateful for their assistance.

It is this “spirit of volunteerism” and sense of community that allows Habitat for Humanity to build homes for people in our community.
