LUCERNE – A late-night motorcycle collision left one subject with major injuries. The crash occurred at about 11:41 p.m. at Fourth and Country Club in Lucerne, according to a California Highway Patrol report. A speeding motorcycle crashed into a pickup, leaving the rider – who was reportedly not wearing a helmet – with major head, shoulder and leg injuries, officials reported. The rider was reported by CHP to have been found unconscious, but later was in a semi-conscious state. A blood draw was ordered for the motorcycle rider, whose name was not available before publication. A REACH helicopter was called to transport the rider to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
