Regarding the recent article “Lake County gets top marks in the American Lung Association report”:


“Who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes?” is a quote attributed to Chico Marx. I have a similar question. What am I going to believe, the crowing about Lake County’s allegedly clean air, or my own eyes and my extensive video and photo documentation?


Lake County’s once-clean clear air has, in recent years, become typically, in varying degrees, hazy white.


Since April 2002, I have been investigating and documenting with photos and video, conducting research and asking questions concerning conditions and phenomenon that contradict what we are told about Lake County having “clean air.” A significant amount of my information comes from mainstream sources such as NASA and The National Academy of Science.


I question the quality and healthfulness of Lake County’s air, based not only on my investigation, but also on the lack of research or evidence from Lake County Air Quality Management District to refute my research.


I have many questions. These are a few:


1. What is causing our once-clear air to be hazy white?


2. Is there any connection between the white haze and the apparently unmarked jet aircraft that leave lingering, expanding, white-haze-causing jet-trails over Lake County? I have a video record of these jets.


3. Why has the Lake County Air Quality Management District failed to supply any researched, documented, responses to my research and my questions?


4. Is what we are breathing harmful?


5. The mission statement of the Lake County Air Quality Management District is “… to maintain healthful ambient air for the residents and visitors of the Lake County air basin.” How can they fulfill their mission if they cannot or will not answer the questions, especially concerning the white haze, with supporting research and documentation?


The Lake County Board of Supervisors, who also sit as the board of directors for the Lake County Air Quality Management District, must require that anyone representing the Lake County Air Quality Management District support all statements and assertions by defining their terms and by providing, specific time and location evidence. In the interest of accountability, this requirement must be retroactive.


There must be full disclosure from the Lake County Air Quality Management District and its board of directors. This will include knowledge or information that they may have or that has been provided to them that could possibly be of concern regarding the quality or healthfulness of Lake County air.

the contrail conspiracy is for serious whack-jobs, there is ZERO evidence of it and the premise is absurd on the face of it.
Yeah, it's been hazy more often, but it's been windy-er
and it hasn't rained since mid February, it's called wea-ther, and it changes all the time.
You want to suck down some garbage go live ANYWHERE in the central valley, then that clean air rating for lake County makes a lot more sense.
So put away the tinfoil hats, and take a deep breath!

secret that the government has experimented with weather modification programs for decades...well may be it is.
We the common people are not deemed intelligent enough by some scientists and especially by bureaucrats to be told how they plan to fulfill their little fantasy of controlling the weather (talk about control freaks)...
So of course anyone who points to these unusual jet trails that metamorphose into clouds and apparently cause a white haze must be nuts, because the government would never do anything without the knowledge and approval of the public, its employer, right?
Yeah, right, just like we really do have representative government, sure, if we try really, really hard, we can almost believe it...
So let's say Lake County air might be one of the least polluted in the nation...it doesn't mean it's clean.
There is no clean air left on the planet anywhere, not even in the arctic.

This person that has resided with in the boundarys called Lake County for over twenty five years and came to play for another twenty five before that. State loud and clear its us, the people, all we bring good or evil. I"ll believe my eyes, I have met the bureaucrats, its only to miss speak if they lie and anyway they can't talk about it. I don't have a tinfoil hat and the contrails seem a little over the top but the haze, now thats real so make all the excuses you like. The fact for me it lingers now.

from somebody else. We still allow ag burns. Many people have funky old wood burning stoves. Then there is China and all their coal fire power plants. We do get a brief respite, they've halted the building and use of those facilities with any proximity to Beijing until after the Olympic then its full steam ahead. Add in America and all the other oil and coal hogs.... We still have air quality that is far superior to most places and I am grateful for it.

"Why has the Lake County Air Quality Management District failed to supply any researched, documented, responses to my research and my questions?" Probably because the questions are an obvious propaganda technique used to imply there is validity to his conspiracy assumptions.
He can't prove a conspiracy that doesn't exist so he demands they disprove it and implies that not disproving it makes it real. That's like asking "What kind of cheese is the moon made of and is there any possible concern regarding its quality or healthfulness?"

University of Arizona and other credible sources on weather modification experiments before you call this a "conspiracy theory"...Whether these jet trails are part of weather modification experiments or not I do not know, but let's just say that it is not absolutely impossible...unlike a moon made of cheese, or a government made of honest and reasonable individuals.

has been doing weather-mod experiments and the DoD wants weather weapons, but the contrail tale is a genuine whopper, there is nothing to it. Name ONE pilot, ONE atc controller, ONE mechanic who says it's true, the ONLY people talking about this are people who are unfamiliar with weather in general, and who have zero knowledge of aviation.

This is why the "contrail" conspiracy has died a slow, lingering death on the internet, the same place where it was born.
