CLEARLAKE – Police issued an update Thursday on the ongoing investigation into a homicide that occurred earlier this week.

Nicolai Chukreeff, 40, of Clearlake died following an incident at the Harbor Lite Resort on Lakeshore Sunday night, as Lake County News has reported.

A preliminary report based on a Tuesday autopsy found that Chukreeff died of a stab wound, according to Lt. Mike Hermann of the Clearlake Police Department.

An arrest has yet to be made in the case. Hermann said that police continue to follow up on numerous leads.
