NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application Minor Modification (MMU 08-03) to Use Permit to Mine (UPM 05-01) proposing the expansion of a sidehill hardrock quarry beyond Phase II based on the results of a groundwater hydrology analysis. The project applicant is Granite Construction Company. The Planning Commission will consider the previously approved Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study (IS 01-77). The project is located at 2100, 2200, 3000, 3840, 3850, 3870, 4000, 4060, 4120, 4180, 4220, 4300, 4330, 4500, 4680, 4700 State Highway 175, Lakeport and further described as APN 007-003-11, 49, 51-54, 69, 75, 76, 07-005-01, 10, 26-30. The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on May 22, 2008, at 11:30 AM, at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard. If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
