Clinton:voted for most of Bush's bad ideas, has plenty of her own disasters in the planning stage, would be back in Little Rock chasing ambulances if she wasn't married to Bill.

Obama: could be as bad as we fear, but hasn't proven it yet, on paper has the potential to be a great president.

McCain: utter fraud, totally clueless, never misses an opportunity to try to start another war, deeply hated by fellow senators for grandstanding shamelessly and for talking tough while voting weak.

Nader: always in the taxpayer/comsumer's corner, never lies and is the most ethical man in national politics, already has outstanding running mate on the ticket and is the only candidate with sane economic and foreign policy.

how could anyone grow government bigger and faster than W did? He grew it so large and so fast it sure looks like our economy is coming apart at the seams. McCain is just dandy, he's gonna give folks who can't afford health insurance a $5000 tax break - just what every family making minimum wage needs - a tax break. No mention at all about folks with pre-existing conditions who could afford a policy if only a company would offer one.Where does your "individual incentive" figure in here?? But if were gonna be in Iraq for his 100 to 1000 years I guess we'll all need to enlist and the VA will provide coverage for us. Hillary is really McCain in a slightly different pant suit - Johnny boy doesn't look so good in pearls. Bubba back on Penn Ave shudder. Nader has done good works and should stick to that, his perennial president runs are for his ego only. It looks like my generation has really done a poor job at running this place. I think its time to let the youngsters take a shot at it. Gee, wonder who I support

1996: the dems run Bill Clinton, the man responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis civilians and and for letting the Isaelis build thousands of homes on stolen land-two mistakes which helped set the stage for 9-11.

2000: Gore lets Bush steal the election from him and his religous extremist warmonger VP candidate, then blames 90,000 Nader voters for his loss when 500,000 democratic Florida voters chose Bush.

2004: Dems run semi-retard warmonger/war criminal kerry and half-wit Edwards, who can't even manage to out-debate Cheney!

So when the dems run HORRIBLY flawed candidates and the repubs are even worse, Nader should sit on the sidelines, and only jumps in because of his ego? Baloney!
Donna Christopher - So Nader is serious Author | 03-12-2008 18:13:13
but sits out the primaries?? Wouldn't a serious candidate have come to all the states?? If this were about more than his ego he would have been in from the getgo. He knows he will not win (not even come close, hell, probably not even register on the Richter anywhere) but runs anyway - that is ego smurf. He'll be no part of any debate so he won't even be able to shape or elevate the discussion. I'll even give ya that if he were to get elected that he would get immediately asassinated because he would upset the ol' corporate apple cart. Vanity, thy name is Nader.
smurf - a hideous slur! Registered | 03-12-2008 21:47:23
Ralph has his faults, no doubt about that, but vanity isn't one of them, he runs for one reason: so the American public doesn't HAVE to vote for a sellout.

Nader won the Green party primary here, it was the only way he could get on the ballot, the dems kept him off with their low-life legal tactics last time.

If it's Hillary-vs-McCain Nader will do well and I'll give him EVERY penny I can -so will a lot of people. If it's Obama I'll wait and see, ih he lives up to my hopes I won't work against him, if I have too many doubts I will. Either way Nader has been more unfairly critisized than any national politican, including the absurd myth (repeated only by those who have no idea who this man really is) that he's a vain egomaniac.

If McCain asks Huckabee to be his running mate, I actually think the Democrats might lose this upcoming election. Currently, the concerns of the religious community seem to be somewhat ignored. That is not good for the country. I think a VP nod to Huckabee could collar a lot of evangelicals over to the McCain camp.

I do not think Ralph Nader has a chance at becoming President. While I believe Nader to be very smart with regard to the economy, I think he is now viewed by most people as "past his prime" so far as being considered a serious presidential candidate.

The big question I have in my mind is what is Micheal Bloomberg going to do? This current Mayor of New York City has the brains, machinery and money - more than all candidates combined (as he is personally worth billions) - to enter this race and actually win it. Question: Does Michael Bloomberg want the top job and is he willing to invest his billions to get it? America has never had a black president, a female president or a Jewish president. This upcoming election we might just see one of those three emerge for the first time.
Raphael - It is ironic Author | 03-13-2008 05:45:25
that a brilliant and dedicated man like Ralph Nader be judged, accurately unfortunately, to have too much integrity and too strong a sense of morality to ever be elected or even be a serious candidate, and then be shot down for having a huge "ego"...kind of absurd, don't you think?
Has anyone measured the egos of Hillary, McCain, and the rest?
How do they compare, particularly in relation to their brain sizes?
So having an honest, very intelligent person of heart, courage and conscience as a candidate is off the table, it is such a CRAZY idea that anyone who attempts it can ONLY be judged to be driven by vanity?
If such is the case, why even discuss politics? Why bother voting? Why take part in this circus? And why pretend to be living in a free and democratic nation?
I personally NEVER voted until Bush and Cheney appeared on the horizon, because I smelled a stronger than usual stench of sulfur...
But you are right smurf, the Democratic puppets did not cut it, as a matter of fact they were so inept, spineless and/or brainless I thought the whole thing was a set up, to let W win. You got to be REALLY bad to loose against a little monkey like W, not just once but twice!!

not the carpetbagging clintons, we have had enough of them.

ralph is a good thing because he takes votes from billary & osama.

my vote will be for a fellow brother, the only choice as I see it.

I will vote for anyone if I know their not a liar. I could care less about party or their views how best to lead this county. They can't lie. Trust is essential. The three that are vying for our vote have been in government for some time, has your life got better? We are deteriorating as a society, we except the loony toons as our leaders. If any of you that have a few years remember then and now, know what I say. I do not think I'm better than anyone else but I'm not asking for your vote. So my voice will be loud and clear that Brown and Farrington are liars and I'm looked upon as a kook because I demand my right. If they will do it to me they will do it to you. Semper Fi and good life to all.

third party would be a good idea, but it would be good only as long as it is not corrupted by the usual political processes (campaign contributions, lobbyists), a couple of weeks?
Right now what we have is a "good cop-bad cop" act where the antagonists follow the same lines, give or take a couple of different side steps.
Let's reform campaign contributions and have exclusively public-financed campaigns! (Can you afford 6 dollars?...www.just6dollars.org)

Nader is to little to late to be more than a mild distraction. Voted for him in 2000 cause he is a good man who wants America to be the best she can be, along with a leveling of the playing field in this country. Good luck with getting that 3rd party up and going in time for this election RM. And c'mon lcsage, if you don't want to vote for a candidate that is not lilly white, show some cajones and just say so. Obama is not a muslim, didn't attend madrassas, puts his hand over his heart during the pledge and was taught by his grandfather (who helped raise him) a WW11 vet to place his hands at his side or together during the anthem. I sang in the high school choir, if your arms weren't at your side during the singing of the anthem you caught hell. Does that make me a jihadist? Hey, personally, I don't care if your a racist but buck up buttercup and admit it. And since he's only half black, you can irrationally dislike just 50% of him I have a middle name I would not have chosen but at the time it was given to me I didn't have a say in it. Lamar, Bloomberg is not going to run - he's already said so. That too would be just another vanity campaign. As far as the evangelicals go, Render unto God that which is Gods but render unto Cesar that which is his (or something like that - separation of state and church - keep your bible thumping out of my constitution). My observation of the last 7 years is fundamentalist Christians are just as dangerous as fundamentalist Muslims - I don't want to know about your personal relationship with your God anymore than I want to know about your personal relationship with your spouse. But don't worry, Clinton will keep up the cheap shots toward Obama, they will keep squabbling back and forth and the Dems will once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. W's third term - made possible by the dems - fulfilled by McCain. Obama 08 - it is the 21st century y'all

Just don't get it. They are too busy backbiting and infighting and have dropped the cheese so John can pick it up and have it for himself. Bloomberg has as much chance as that other one named Lieberman that looks like he drinks formaldehyde. Maybe if they spent less time voting perks for themselves they could concentrate on issues more. Universal health care will never happen because the politicians already have the best. We couldn't afford it anyway and big pharmacy won't allow it. They just keep passing out the cake - little goodies here and there to try and placade the folks, rx help, etc. It's not the right time for Barak. It may never be. I am sure some redneck James Earl Ray will see to that.

Big John deserves a chance. He's a good man and also a brother. [X]

I admire about McCain - his support (now)for extending the tax cuts is unacceptable along with his admission that the economy is not his forte. And the War in Iraq is flat assed WRONG, wrong when it started, wrong now and wrong 50 to 1000 years from now. It must say something to you lcsage that Obama is willing to run, you think well armed racists haven't crossed his mind also? I support him for the same reason I supported Supervisor Rushing when she ran. She wasn't someone telling me what she would do for me, she was someone telling me what we could do together to make things better. I hear that from Obama - together - we can (I hope)right our ship of state. He's telling us that if we turn off the TV put the beer back in the fridge roll up our sleeves, we just may, JUST MAY, be able to save our country. McCain and Clinton are the same old same old. We don't have the luxury of same old anymore.

that is crazy enough to run for president in 08' should be looked at VERY closely!!
and no, I don't believe any of them are going to be capable of pulling us out of this horrible mess...
I look for the one that will be the most honest with the American Public...
So far my trust sits with Obama, only because Nader doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell and Kucinich dropped out, knowing he didn't stand a snowballs chance in hell (smarter than Nader!).
