LAKE COUNTY – On Tuesday afternoon the Westshore Little League 11 & 12 All Star team won a hard fought game against runner up Kelseyville to win the District 35 North Area championship.
Teams from Willits, Fort Bragg, South Shore, Middletown and Mendocino Coast participated in the tournament.
Members of the Westshore team include: Alex Andrews, Alex Castillo, Daniel Driskell, Brandon Fenner, Matt Gatton, Stone Phillips, Matt Richards, Oren Ruffcorn, Dustin Thaxton, Wesley Thaxton, Stoney Timmons, Bruce Tucker and Dakota Velez.
Westshore advances to play the winners of the South and Central areas for the District 35 Regional Title.
