LAKE COUNTY – The Miss Lake County Scholarship Program is proud to announce two orientations for the upcoming pageant, which will be held on Jan. 23, 2010, at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre in Lakeport.
The orientations also are for the Outstanding Teen Pageant.
The orientation dates are Sunday, Nov. 8, at Konocti Dance Academy, 4274 Old Highway 53, Clearlake, and Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Mendo-Lake Credit Union Meeting Room, 963 11th St., Lakeport.
Both meetings will start at 2 p.m.
The teen program is open to ages 13-16 and the Miss Program is open to ages 17-24.
These are question and answer sessions so you can see what the program is about. If you come to the orientation, you are not obligated to compete and your parents are more than welcome to come with any questions. Even if this is your first year competing, you will have a lot of fun and meet some great girls. This year they are pleased to announce the start of the Princess Program. It is a great way to introduce young girls to the Miss America program and so much fun for the little girls to meet wonderful young women.
