NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on the appeal AA 09-05, of William Verity. The appellant is appealing a Notice of Violation (Case # RC102) issued December 10, 2009, alleging the conversion of a resort from transient accommodations to apartment rentals for long-term residential occupancy. The location of the alleged zoning violations is 3997 East State Highway 20, Nice, APN 032-182-08. The staff report will be available for review in the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California ten (10) days before the hearing. NOTICE OF CONTINUANCE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS On Jan. 28, 2010, the City Council of the city of Clearlake and the Clearlake Redevelopment Agency continued the public hearings to consider: 1. Whether to certify the draft mitigated negative declaration/initial environmental study in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act; and 2. Authorizing the executive director to execute the draft disposition and development agreement; and 3. Authorizing the executive director to execute the land exchange agreement with the adjoining property owner to the south; and 4. Approving the disposition and development agreement between the Clearlake Redevelopment Agency and KK Raphel Properties LLC, and authorizing the city administrator and city clerk to execute the agreement; and 5. Abandonment of part of the right-of-way for Airport Road; and 6. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Lake County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the DRAFT MIDDLETOWN AREA PLAN UPDATE (GPAP 09-05), the rezoning of lands within the area plan (RZ 09-09) and the DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (EIR 09-05). Said hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on February 11, 2010, at 9:20 a.m. at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard thereon. The Plan proposes to amend the general plan and rezone portions of the approximately 150 square miles of unincorporated territory of Lake County including the communities of: Middletown, Hidden Valley Lake, and Anderson Springs along with the outlying rural areas. It includes all or portions of Assessor's Parcel Books 013, 014, 024, 050, 136, 141, 142 and 144. The draft Area Plan provides comprehensive text and policy updates to guide land use and development decisions in the Middletown planning area through the year 2030. The draft EIR and draft Middletown Area Plan are available for review by the public in the Lake County Community Development Department, 255 North Forbes Street, 3rd Floor of the County Courthouse, Lakeport, California and on-line at www.co.lake.ca.us .
