Mediacom Sucks! - 2009/11/17 20:27
I find Mediacom to be unresponsive and unreliable: once again, I'm without a vital service from them - this time my telephone. I get shut down on a regular basis by Mediacom, usually my internet connection. If you call Mediacom to inquire or complain, you get someone in Florida or South Dakota who cannot provide answers or estimates, and cares less. That is, when you can get someone at all. it seems as if they're always "experiencing an unusually high volume of calls". (Like now!) Plus, my 18 month intro offer expired, and my costs have literally doubled! I'm paying double for the trouble! Except for the phone - hello, AT&T - I don't have many options up here on Cobb. My roof can't see the satellite, & AT&T can't deliver internet or their version of cable. And how about this On Demand feature they're always touting on their advertisements - doesn't exist in Lake County. I'm stuck, and I'm f***ed. I hope that when the Powers of Lake County negotiate their next contract with Media-Com, they'll make sure the citizens of Lake County receive reliable, affordable, up to date service. Or....Bring on Comcast!
