Dinius preliminary hearing's second day yields surprises - 2008/05/22 20:35
This thread discusses the Content article: Dinius preliminary hearing's second day yields surprises
Congratulations on disclosing the incompetence of the officer who did the secondary investigating. When he testified " I just had to trust Perdock" ( and his gang of men) for me, it was over.
He was not brought out of Sacramento to "trust" Perdock's word, he was there in investigate independently. He failed to do so.
What a score for the defense, and the truth comes out in the end so they say. The rate of speed Perdock was driving (reckless) anywhere from 50 to 70 so stated, the "Inability to locate the Blood Alchold Kit" for sobriety on Perdock and the Power Switch being in the ON position of the sail boat would nail it for any Juror to clearly see this truly is a "Cover Up" and a not worthy of Trial. Here is the thing that galls me the most, recently the tapes or comments made by Perdock at the time of the accident are chilling. His foul mouth and yelling obscenities, rather than the bigger question "Is anyone hurt " ranked just as high on the Moral fiber questioner in my mind. A life was lost, the biggest crime of all, the death of theinnocent passenger. I will remember next time I'm out boating not to boat during twilight time for fear another one of our Lake County Officials will be driving recklessly and killing people, then shifting the blame. Let's not forget either friends, how fast our CHP, Sheriff's Department, Boat Patroll and various Police departments pull that Blood Alcohol Testing Kit from their back pockets The minute they pull you over they ask, "have you been drinking" and magically the testing kit appears. Where was that rule applied here? Stalling to take one to the hospital for a blood draw is the oldest trick in the book to buy time for blood/alcohol levels to drop. Let's see now, How many officers arrived that night to assist? Yet no tests were performed on Perdock until hours later at the hospital. How very convenient. Perdock deserves to be charged with Manslaughter, Reckless Driving and a Civil Suit should follow not to mention being dismissed from his position. I will pass on knowing the safety of my life and my family are being guarded by Officer Perdock while he is out protecting ,serving and killing our community. Do not thnk I am not Pro Law Enforcment, I am, just not in this instance. If our DA thinks this case is worthy of the Courts, then I suggest he pack up his guitar and go sing his song under the beach and boardwalk where he came from.
