Mt. Konocti has archaeological, historical & magical characteristics that need to be defined, protected & appreciated. What a boon to local draw if the county were to take on this responsibility. It's time for local interests to prepare for the future tourist & residential input by preserving the hotbed for the "Lady in the Lake." She's there and will ultimately become the logo for Lake County.
