A lot more of this espacade is becoming clearer by each article. The Lake County Iron Pigs Motorcycle Club in which Sgt Tim Celli is the President and Sgt. on the Clearlake Police Dept. told the organizers of the Blue Heron Event that they would sponsor the event. I had seen their names as sponsors in every major newspaper. Then at the last second Tim Celli pulls out of the event because he tells Joyce Overton that the Fryed Brothers Band are associated with the Hells Angels? I would think the Fryed Brothers Band lawyer would have fun with that one. Let me guess that the leading authority on this event being a red and white run {Hells Angels} was Sgt. Tim Celli. Since this leading authority was so wrong and spent tax payer dollars on ramping up all the law enforcement and undermining the charity event perhaps we should know his name and ask him a few questions? Perhaps you the new chief should ask him a few questions on where he gets his information and maybe not rely on him in the future? Clearlake police Chief if you don't think having one of your leading officers on your dept. being the president and member of a three piece patch motorcycle club is not a conflict of interest then your mistaken. One more thing Chief if what was said is true and you rolled up your window when taxpaying citizens wanted to talk to you then you might as well pack your bags now and go back to the big city. Us here simple folk like to know our officers and talk with them, this is not a place where we need a Chief to sit on his hands and wait for retirement. We need a proactive Chief to take the helm, lead us and protect us from crime and gangs. We need a Chief who is willing to listen.
