I can fully comprehend what your life is like, especially with dialysis. In 1997, my wife went into kideny failure and had to endure the agravation of dialysis. Her condition wasn\'t caused by diabetes, though. It was from something that many people are not aware of, which she suffered from chronic headaches in the late 80\'s, while she tried to take something that she thought was safe, Ibuprofen. Too much of that will perforate your kidneys. I was having to help her through all of that as well as helping my son deal with multiple siezures. My family\'s life was turned upside down. Losing my job of 8 years plus, investing all we had in a business, in the hopes of supporting ourselves without having to deal with someone else dictating to me, that I should put them first, above my family. I lost the business, due to trust issues (I trusted too much, the book keeper). We became homeless after losing our home, in Fresno, when the mortgage company, that had my late father\'s home, offered it to me, here in this beautiful county of ours. My wife was dying on dialysis, because her veins were colapsing, so we struggled with UCSF, to allow our daughter to donate a kidney to her mother. The transplant was a success, with our daughter saving her mother\'s life. Unfortunately my wife was killed during a \"simple\" operation (angio-gram). I don\'t know what your financial situation is, and whether you are still with your current wife, but have you heard of IHSS. I personally have been involved with the program, and know that it can help. Call me if you\'d like. Dave Smith 274-8280 - Ambassador Dave
