The sewage spill is rather symbolic for how I feel about all political incumbents lately from the city all the way up. What a bunch of stinkers! - ron_b

good ole boys of two cities and county governments continue to not learn deep pocket lawsuits of past. Simply amazing! One would think that if the controversy real estate deal was going away  well it apparently hasn\'t and the stinky smell from the past has surfaced again and the local taxpayers continue to be the ginnypigs for those who dance through the legal system with lawsuits and counter lawsuits. Government officals aren\'t spending money out their own pockets defending this crap. Hopefully, the good citizens of this county will hold all encumberants accountable at the \'ballot box\'! Only time you citizens have a real voice. - superstarr60

amazing to have a story that involves shopping centers, lawyers, developers, local government and sewage and the thing that smells the least is the sewage. - Donna Christopher

from the lakeport city council, when you\'re in a hole just keep digging guys! This latest lawsuit is nothing but revenge, and it\'s so weak and vague it\'s bound to go nowhere fast-just like the last time. It\'s embarrassing and disgusting to see the council abuse it\'s power like this, guess their message is \"do what we say or we\'ll file some money-draining lawsuit against you\".

So we have the taxpayers paying to defend Bruns in his crooked deal, and now we\'re on the hook for this mistake too, one more reason to make some BIG changes down at city hall in November! - smurf
