As they get the funds together they do what they can. Obviously with the state of the realestate markets and page after page of foreclosures that can\'t be to helpful. Plus there is the issue of lakefront properties that require the sign off of many other agencies, local,state and federal. Permitting thru the Army Corp of Engineers literally can take many years. But it would be nice to see an article in this fine online newspaper by Eric or Kelly that explains the status of each area of redevelopment, where we are at and where we are headed, how long till we get there and how many more hoops have to be jumped thru. I\'d also like to see an educated guess on if there will be enough increase in property taxes to make these dreams come true. I understand that that part would be speculative. I\'m already seeing things I did not expect to see for several more decades - and they ain\'t pretty sites!
