The sun controls our climate --CO2 has little to do with it--CO2 levels always go up with warming trends as it boils out of the ocean. Research this and then ignore Gore\'s hype. Drilling for more oil and using nuclear for most electric power (as does France and Japan)will give time to develop fuel cells and other viable alternatives. Not having a sensible energy policy will create havoc for our kids and grandkids -- it is not too late. Global Warming (human induced) is the diversion that will do us in. And if anyone thinks a reduction in gas tax is any type of solution at all, consider this - the reduction in revenue from the reduction in driving in America has already resulted in a massive reduction in the budget that covers this nations roads.
