Keep Konocti

Lets face it, Konocti concerts are one of the greatest things about Lake County. It is truely one thing that we can brag about to our city friends, in terms of fun night life.

Unless someone here thinks they can buy it and make a profit, as is, we should allow a casino. We don\'t need time shares, residential houses, or storage facilities to replace it.

I vote for whatever it takes to keep the concerts. How about a casino/brothel combination? I think the Indians can do that, soveriegn nation and all. - jmadison

The only way Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa will be purchased is if proposed development plans are approved that will create investment return potential.

The existing infrastructure doesn\'t create enough revenue to entice investors wanting a return on their money. The concert venue is seasonal, just as lodging is.

A casino would not be seasonal driven, thus offering 24/7 operation.

I don\'t see any purchase of this facility in the near future, unless the concession to develop is approved. - DerBingel
