It\'s really there to bail out Country Wide and their ilk and parts of it were actually written by Bank of America (Which bought out Country Wide) lobbyists. Perhaps they do not comprehend what they are signing? I read every bit of my first mortgage. It was then that I decided there must be a better deal down the road than the agreement I signed that would end up costing me over $250K to pay back a 40K loan. Course, interest rates were close to 12% then. When they got close to 6% we refinanced - but again the contract was read. I know these documents are not easy to read but for crying out loud - If It Sounds To Good To Be True - then it probably is. This mess was driven by the greed of all parties involved in it. BushCo may have set this one up, but it was the consumer who hit it out of the park. I\'m not sure the purpose of this suit, is Brown trying to help people keep their homes, trying to ding CountryWide or is this a \'hey look at me\' deal?
