magnuts, worry about the guys who are really on the ropes who will lose their farms this year. The people who feed you. The ones you\'ll die without. The people who generate the bulk of the economic activity here. The folks who do something useful, unlike some who could be mmentioned. - smurf

Ahhhh poor Smurf.. I am sure it is the governments fault or the local police may be out to get you. You should sue them to try and recover your losses. - Magnum

your troubles smurf, and everyone else\'s also. Hope you all can hang on another year and that nature is kinder to you next year. I don\'t think most folks realize how close to crisis we really are in these times - we\'ve lost track of it our sense of entitlement. America is not famine proof. - Donna Christopher

i think the pear crop is worse than people think with more spots and corking that won\'t show up until it\'s picked and run. The sizes are good but will probably not make up for the light crop, and in my walnuts the Hartleys are a total loss and the Chandlers are about 80% gone. On top of that my hay crop was very weak and I was only able to salvage a little for my own horse, so it\'s pretty grim out there this year for growers. - smurf
