We spent the night in our engines then headed to the base camp at Butte College in the morning. We were on the fire line mopping up all day Friday until Saturday morning when we got to rest back at base camp. We went out on the fire line again on Sunday and were back in camp on Monday morning. We got home Tuesday around 16:00. 24 hours on 24 hours off. We had the pleasure of working with a great group from Mendocino County. One engine each from Hopland, Ukiah Valley, Anderson Valley and Redwood Valley. It was a lot of very hard work on some very difficult terrain.
