particular bill would have come in handy when I was caring for Dad. I never had him declared incompetent - didn\'t want to put him thru it and he\'d already given me POA before he was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Didn\'t want to put me thru it either - it was hard enough of a role reversal w/o the legal dog n pony show. When he was diagnosed with late stage 3 cancer the doctor gave him all kinds of options - except the one of doing nothing. The doctor & hospital got their big $$$. Dad got a doc that was overly aggressive in trying to remove the tumor and ended up blocking one of the ureters. Taking care of my fathers catheter is something I never fathomed. And it went on alooooong time - hard to retrain the bladder when its been assaulted and the brain is no longer functioning as it should be. Telling Dad that no action actually was an option should have been on the table. This particular bill actually is for many who do not have one foot in the grave. - Donna Christopher

“Now, it’s on to the Senate, and then to the governor’s desk,” said Berg, who will leave the Assembly later this year, having served the three terms allowed under the state’s term-limits law.\" Is she still talking about these bills or her plans for the future? Thank you. - Donna Christopher
