Why not let the County pay milleage to folks and have them use there own car, and scale down the pick-up fireman. They can be just as effective with something smaller. But that is the State and why we are in a bind. How much does a CHP make, at least 80K without overtime. The same with a CDF Captain. How about the Lake County CEO, and even the roughly 60 grand paid the local Supervisors. Why do they need even to paid for a full time position! The next thing you know a local Supervisor with a bad heart is gunna apply for disibility retirement. What a strange system we have. And why dosn\'t the jail do more cite release and Work Furlough and Home Confinement. Most folks in jail are pretty darn harmless. They are our neighbors and friends in this small community. Why do we need so many judges, and on and on. It is an incremental pork with a bunch of lazy beauracrats. And why not give the park to lease, I am sure I could easily make a good living with that place. The one in Clearlake needs top be open just a few days a week, and if you put a guy in a free motorhome there you would not need a lot of staff to create security. Oh well - the State will shut down, and Arnold is full of crap.
