A sizeable land purchase is a start. The real money though is in Clearlake\'s water. Water is a real asset, Clearlake has too much water sometime not going to market. Water in the lake not going to market, not growing crops, or quenching thirst, seeps into the water table, which is part of a great Northern California aquifier......there are other places in California and beyond that would pay dearly for fresh water. With park closures, budget deficits looming on the horizon, it\'s a refreshing change of venue indeed to see the board take decisive action on a far reaching project enthusiastically endorsed by the various quarters in the community.
