Hey! I\'m glad we have got something positive going. Corgis in general are a little domineering, for their size, but great personalities and not many medical problems. A great breed in general and worth a look.
If anyone, with property and no other pets, is interested in 2 beautiful German Shorthair pointers, we have had the pair for over 2 years. They are great with people but have been aggressive towards other animals. - chrisholmes

Welsh Corgi?

You have a Welsh Corgi? When you say he\'s too much for your household, is it that he\'s too energetic, domineering, etc.? I\'ve always been interested in Corgis but don\'t have any practical knowledge about them. I hear they can be a big dog in a little dog body. - elarson

I am always helping dogs out. Right now I am trying to find a home for a pure bred welsh corgi that someone was going to take to the pound. He\'s a cool dog He is just tooo much for our household. If I can find a home for him, then I could take one of the 3 from you Chris. - cj1602

Sorry for passing judgement, or calling the guy a loser, but when you get called in on emergency during dinner, needing to bring your kids in, to someone who had his dog tied up at 7pm when it is not too hot to be in the car while you are at the casino, and having him tell you that he paid 1000$ for the pup and he is very valuable, and then he shows up with 0$ and gets pissed off at you for wanting a payment on the bill, I guess you get a little judgmental. We already have 3 dogs and 3 cats in there that we need to find homes for. Any takers? - chrisholmes

That\'s wonderful, Dr!

The family (or I should say the adults in that family) that abandonded the pup... are disgusting! But, Dr. Holmes, I know he will have a wonderful and loving life with you and your family. I don\'t think people understand how often our local vets get stiffed by animal owners... so I think vets get the short end of the stick on many, many occassions... Kudos to you Dr. Holmes for always being so kind to the critters! - chrizzy

It\'s nice to hear you call people \"losers\" With the high $$$$$$$$ you vets charge it is a wonder anyone except the wealthy can afford to take their pet to you. Wasson Clinic, gouge someone else losers. - sam_iam

It is so easy to pass judgment

against someone that we don\'t know. Yes it is awful that this happened, I don\'t think he did it on purpose. The one thing that comes up for me is that if he had left the pup in the car everyone would be crying foul for that. It sounds like it is working out for the pup and I hope that he makes a full recovery. We should all remember that accidents happen and you never know when it could happen to you. - cj1602

Good News

Good News for the pup. The loser refused to pay any of his veterinary care bill. He finally signed it over to Animal Control. Right now the pup is in a new home cuddled up to our big chocolate lab \'Mojo\'. I wonder what would have happened to the guy if he had his 2 kids tied up to the bumper when he pulled out of the casino parking lot? - chrisholmes

Just curious, why do you take your children and a puppy to a casino? Guess we should be glad he didn\'t tie the other vulnerable members of his family to the bumper while he went in. I hope the puppy makes a full recovery and perhaps instead of a fine to the court he should make a large donation towards our new shelter. My hubby tells me this is a better idea than my first one, tie this dude to a bumper and .... - Donna Christopher

didn\'t this guy ever see National Lampoon\'s \"Summer Vacation\"? He\'s no relation to Chevy Chase, is he? An investigation could take a \"few weeks\"? Huh? Looks pretty simple to me, seems like a conclusion could be reached a bit sooner than that. - smurf
