A special holiday event will give people the chance to have their beloved pets photographed with Santa and, at the same time, benefit one of Lake County's great causes.
Photographer Diane Davis will take pet photos with Santa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at Rainbow Ag Feed Store, located on Highway 29.
All sitting fees – at $20 each – will benefit Lake County Animal Services, a local rescue group started to solve the local problem of pet overpopulation.
Since its beginning in 2003, Lake County Animal Services has worked with Lake County Animal Care and Control to reduce the numbers of animals euthanized at the local shelter. The organization won a Star of Lake County award for its efforts.
At the Nov. 25 event, microchipping services also will be available for $15 per pet.
