The City of Lakeport Planning Commission will hold its next regular meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 14 in the City Council Chambers at Lakeport City Hall. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Items on the agenda include: Public hearing and consideration of application for a Zone Change for a portion of the project from R-3 High Density Residential to PO Professional Office; a Minor Use Permit to allow a residential unit in conjunction with an office use; Architectural and Design Review for the exterior remodel of an existing building; and Environmental Review of the project. The subject property is located at 601 N. Forbes Street and is further described as APN 25-234-02. Applicant is Fred Blower. Public hearing and consideration of an application for a Use Permit to allow an addition to an existing single-family dwelling in an historic subdivision to be permitted with a reduced development standard for the side yard setback in an R-1 Low Density Residential Zoning District. The subject property is located at 421 Forest Drive, and is further described as APN 26-074-30. Applicant is Don Strate. Public hearing and consideration of an application for a Tentative Subdivision Map to create five lots from a 2.36 acre parcel in an R-1 Low Density Residential Zoning District, and Environmental Review of the project. The subject property is located at 1255 Sixth Street and is further described as APN 25-062-02. Applicant is James Munion. Public hearing and consideration of a recommendation to the City Council to amend the Zoning Ordinance regarding the installation of metal and fabric-covered carports.
