The Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild will meet on Saturday, Oct. 20 in the Scotts Valley Women’s Clubhouse at 2298 Hendricks Road.
The doors open at 9 a.m. and the meeting begins at 10 a.m. Come early to browse the quilt library, sign up for special events and socialize.
Sylvia Q. Davis presents a program on “Stash Reduction.” Instead of a 12-step program, Davis offers 12 observations she has made during her stash-laden career.
“Stashes are highly overrated!” Davis will show you reasons and methods to quickly turn that fabric stash into colorful stash-reductive projects. Davis is from Los Angeles and will be coming to Lake County after the Pacific International Quilt Show. Note that the October meeting is late in the month due to our quilt show and Pacific International.
LLQG welcomes all quilters and prospective quilters to its meetings and events. Through a variety of programs and projects, the quilt guild members learn new skills and techniques, benefit the Lake County community and enjoy themselves immensely. |
