The recent death of Mary Jadiker, longtime Democratic Party activist and chair of the Lake County Democratic Central, has resulted in new leadership on the Central Committee.
Officers for 2006-2008 are Wanda Harris, Hidden Valley, chair; Becky Curry, Kelseyville, vice-chair; Michelle Borzoni, Hidden Valley, treasurer; Sunol Westergren, Glenhaven, assistant treasurer, and Carol Bettencourt, Lucerne, Secretary.
The committee currently has openings in supervisorial districts two, four and five.
